Vasiliki Papadouli
Biography
Vasiliki Papadouli holds a PhD in Private Law (Law of Obligations) from the Faculty of Law at Aristotle’s University of Thessaloniki, awarded with a “Summa cum laude” distinction in 2021. Throughout her PhD studies she was granted a scholarship by the Academy of Athens. She also holds a LL.M. degree in Private Law, Civil Procedure Law and Labor Law (with distinction) and a LLB degree in Law, from the Faculty of Law at Aristotle’s University of Thessaloniki.
Since 2019 she is a core member of the Research Group “Digital Economy and Private Law”, hosted by the Faculty of Law at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. As a member of the Research Group Vasiliki has conducted research on Artificial Intelligence, its Ethics and Transparency.
Vasiliki’s interests relate to the law and technology, particularly to the Blockchain, Smart Contracts platforms and Artificial Intelligence, as well as the impact of their interaction on Law.
Vasiliki is a qualified Attorney at Law and a member of the Bar Association of Thessaloniki, Greece. Since 2015 she has been in practice in the whole spectrum of private law, including labor, commercial, property, bank transactions and consumer protection law, while since 2022 she is employed at the General Legal Counsel of a leading multinational consultancy firm in Greece.
