Shurui Kang

Shurui Kang is a PhD researcher at the Cyber and Data Security Lab under the supervision of Prof. Vagelis Papakonstantinou. Her current research focuses on Transnational Regulation and Global Governance of Artificial Intelligence.

In her previous experience, Shurui supported the editorial process for Smit & Herzog's The Law of the European Union at the Center for International Legal Studies (CILS) and served as Tribunal Secretary for the 2023 FDI Moot Regionals. Her practical experience extends to regional policymaking, having contributed to the drafting of the Patent Promotion and Protection framework in Inner Mongolia.

Shurui holds a Master of Laws in International Economic Law from Inner Mongolia University and a Bachelor of Laws from Inner Mongolia University of Technology.
