In brief...
The EITHOS project aims to develop an observatory for monitoring and countering identity theft, based on two pillars. The first pillar entails informing and educating citizens via innovative awareness campaigns, highlighting good protection practices, describing common identity theft methods, and explaining their dangers and potential impact. The second pillar entails identifying and addressing challenges that police authorities face regarding identity theft and enhance their investigations.
