Maria-Oraiozili Koutsoupia

Maria-Oraiozili Koutsoupia is a qualified lawyer and holds a PhD in Law from the University of Athens at the Information Law. She is specializing in artificial intelligence and pharmaceutical law. She has worked at major law firms in Athens and Brussels and is the Founder of the Institute for Artificial Intelligence Law (Rythmisis) while she was appointed and served in 2024 as one of the Greek representatives in the EU AI Board (Prohibitions subgroup). She speaks four languages and has published numerous scientific articles and 2 books. She currently works for the EU Institutions in Brussels.
