Luca Galantini
Biography
Luca Galantini is a PhD candidate in Historical Studies at the Universities of Florence and Siena (Italy). His research focuses on the analysis of Italian diplomacy during the crisis in transatlantic relations and the early phase of East-West détente in the 1960s, with specific attention to their legal and institutional dimensions, as well as to the technological evolution occurring between the two blocs. His doctoral project is conducted in partnership with the Historical Diplomatic Archives of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI).
He is a teaching assistant in History of International Relations at the University of Florence.
Furthermore, he is a political and research analyst at Frascà&Partners, concentrating on the Indo-Pacific region and on technological competition between the West and China.
He holds a master’s degree in International Relations from the University of Florence.
