Hassan Amine El Sayed

Hassan is currently a researcher at LSTS. He holds a Bachelor degree in Law from the University of Sagesse (Lebanon). He is an ACII member of Chartered insurance Institute in London since 2015. Besides his law degree, he has obtained a Master's degree in International Business Law from Paris Sorbonne University in 2018 and has joined the PhD program VUB's Faculty of Law in 2019.

He possesses considerable experience in legal and commercial manners as in-house counsel in AXA Insurance, a multinational leading insurance company. In his role as in-house legal counsel, he was in charge of all litigation, commercial and regulatory matters for the most of GCC countries. His role was instrumental as he was capable to reflect and adapt with all legal and regulatory changes. 

In his PHD, he will be focusing on Blockchain Technology in different jurisdictions where he will analyse on its regulations and implications.
