Fatimah Diouani

Fatimah is, as of September 2023, a PhD researcher at the Faculty of Law and Criminology of the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB). She holds a Bachelor of Laws with Honours from the University of Mauritius and a LL.M. in International Business Law from the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB).
On the professional front, Fatimah has 7+ years of experience as a legal professional in business law (including a focus on data privacy), especially relating to technology (including but not limited to Cloud services). She currently works in data privacy compliance and is a Certified Privacy Professional in Europe.
Her research will focus on anthropomorphic artificial intelligence and data privacy.
