
Apostolos Vlachos
Biography
Apostolos Vlachos has been pursuing a Ph.D. at VUB’s Faculty of Law and Criminology since September 2025. He holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in European Business and Economic Law from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, specializing in Intellectual Property, Data Protection & ICT law, Competition & State aid law, and digital transactions in the EU. He obtained his Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from the Neapolis University of Paphos.
He has worked for Greek Law Firms. His commitment to legal innovation is demonstrated by his membership in research institutions. Apostolos is a qualified lawyer and member of the Athens Bar Association, with research interests at the intersection of law and technology, particularly in how it reshapes cybersecurity risks, regulatory compliance, and the enforcement challenges businesses face in cross-border investigations.
